Pan Pan – Chest Injury Onboard A 15 Metre Yacht – Sunday 1st October 2017

Crew Diverted From Training: 12:34pm

Whilst out on our routine Sunday training exercise, Portsmouth Lifeboat heard the Pan Pan call on channel 16 from a 15 metre yacht that one of its crewmembers had sustained a chest injury onboard, Portsmouth Lifeboat raced to the scene and put 2 crewmembers aboard, Local lifesaving organisation Portsea Rescue had also responded to the call who assisted with our crewmembers stabilising the casualty onboard the yacht. The yacht was then escorted into the camber docks in Portsmouth Harbour where they were met by a waiting ambulance crew.
